OTTO Capex is a fixed asset management application used by authorised business users to manage, scan, update, and synchronise asset records.
The app may collect login credentials or user account details required to authenticate authorised users.
The app may collect asset records, QR code scan results, asset status, asset updates, and related business data entered by users.
The app uses the device camera to scan QR codes for asset identification and asset management workflows. The app does not use the camera for unrelated purposes.
The app may use device location to record or verify the location of assets, branches, sites, or asset-related activity. Location access is used only for asset management purposes.
The app may collect basic technical information required for app functionality, synchronisation, troubleshooting, and security.
We use collected information to authenticate authorised users, manage fixed asset records, scan and identify assets using QR codes, record or verify asset location, synchronise offline and online asset data, improve reliability and security, and provide support.
We do not sell user data. Data may be processed by our backend systems and service providers only for operating, maintaining, securing, and supporting the OTTO Capex asset management service.
We use reasonable security measures to protect user data. Data may be transmitted between the app and our servers using secure network communication.
We retain data as long as required for business, operational, legal, or security purposes. Authorised administrators may request data updates or deletion where applicable.
Users can control camera and location permissions from their device settings. Some app features, such as QR scanning or location-based asset tracking, may not work if permissions are disabled.
OTTO Capex is intended for business use and is not directed to children.
